At some point in time each and everyone of us has procrastinated. Procrastination is NOT about being lazy or disorganized. Procrastinators are usually smart, dedicated, talented people who just can’t get things done and have no idea why.
Procrastination will cause loss of time, stress, lower your self-esteem, blow opportunities, and not let you move forward to reach your dreams and goals.
So how can you STOP Procrastinating you ask?
Let me help you break down the task by using the 3 steps below.
For example, you have been putting off getting back to the gym.
Step 1: Tour 3 gyms
By When: June 29th 2020 (I gave 1 week)
Step 2: Choose the best gym for you
By When: June 30th 2020
Step 3: Start date
By When: July 1st 2020
I call this chunking it down. When you have a task that you have been putting off and it becomes very overwhelming, chunking it down makes the task more reasonable to complete.
Writing it down with dates and you can add times if needed keeps you more accountable. Checking off an item on a list is the most satisfying feeling and gets you closer to completion.
